Each morning while we get ready for the day, we each prompt the question to each other. What are you grateful for today? Sometimes finding three things is effortless, some days I really have to think for a moment. The work to be done when I feel like doing no work at all. Coming back to the breath. The channel. Tapping through emotions. And playing my bowls just for me 💛This lingering eclipse energy paired with the start of a new cycle has me slumpedddd 😅 So grateful for my monthly seasons of productivity, because it means I get to honor the slow phases as well. Do I wish I were doing the 1000 other things on my to do list? Yes. Does my brain go into overload if I think about doing any of them? Also yes. 😂 Oh the joys of being a cyclical woman building a body led business 💫

Joy and grief are not opposite emotions. You can feel immense joy and gratitude for the life you’ve brought into the world while still mourning what could have been. Grieving the life you once had, the body that will never be the same, or the experience that didn’t go as planned.

Both emotions demand to be felt, and both illuminate a path for growth. It doesn’t mean you’re broken, you’re doing it wrong, or that you’ve failed. It means we are human and experience life complex ways.

Finding a new balance, where love and loss weave themselves together, takes time. And you are allowed to take that time.

This is why I do the work that I do. To give women the space to be seen, validated. Offering an opportunity to guide the body back to grace, forgiveness, and acceptance 💛

I have been curating my future birth playlist for several years now 😂. I am continuously adding new songs that resonate, and deleting songs as my vision evolves. I look for songs that bring me peace within their melody, their words, and connect me with my inner strength. Birth is something I think about often (not just because it's a huge part of my business), because I know the power of envisioning a positive experience. Each time I listen to these songs, they ground my body and spirit, calling in the frequency of the birth I dream to have one day.

Of course the checklists and logistics are still important, but my goal for each one of my clients is to prioritize their connection to their body, and their baby. Each prenatal session with me has a time for education, and planning, but ends with meditation, and immersive sound. Creating a space where the mother can breathe, soften, and access the inner wisdom that will guide her through the journey of birth.

But that’s the cool thing about transformation. Each step feels small at the time, but compiles into a new version you don’t even recognize.

And that’s when it clicked. I realized that through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, there is so much noise of “Do this, don’t do that.” and “No don’t do that! Do this!”. And so often we are told to “just follow your intuition”. But what does that really mean? How do we tap into our intuition, when the world is screaming its opinions at us constantly? We need to be shown, guided, and held in a space where the only goal, is to let go. To just exist for a moment, so the only thing you can hear is the connection between you and your body.

That’s when The Sound of Birth was born ✨

A space where women can come together, share their intentions, and sink into deep meditation guided by sound frequency. Whether you are pregnant, postpartum, a mom of 4, or have no kids at all, this is the place to come for womb connection, and reclaiming the power that lives within us all.
